Thanks for pointing out her earlier successes Stephen, I unfortunately immediately associate her with the later film disasters. I remember one of my companions at the time in the theater referring to her (highest paid actress) Demi Moore = 50% Bonus.
As someone who suffered through GI Jane—Moore, snatched bald headed and mistaking herself for Falconetti—I can commend her on her hard work. God knows it was hard work watching it. I doubt she’ll be getting a more eloquent defense than the one you wrote, but I suppose there’s an argument that GI Jane forecast the reluctance to put women in combat that haunts are upcoming SecDef. Haven’t seen The Substance yet, mostly because I’m allergic to her.
