Baloney on Joe didn't help.

He and Harris had to have gamed this out.

As a team.

Unless you want to convince me that Hillary and Bill, Clyburn, Elizabeth Warren, AOC and I believe at least one union are just sitting around on a Sunday afternoon in July reading Joe Biden's tweets, ready to endorse, that's a coordinated response.

And look who's NOT part of that response? Pelosi. Schumer. Obama. The chattering class who wanted to ditch her.

Don't get me wrong. She is a great candidate and will be a great president. She called all the state chairmen and nailed their endorsements. But she sealed up the nomination within 24 hours of his announcement and that doesn't happen organically.

At least not in the Democratic Party.

I don't know about you but preparation and planning impress me more than relying on a feeling.

I would just like to say that when I die and the coroner cuts me up, he or she will find the numerals “2016” engraved on my heart. So the next time some killjoy says, “yes, we’re ahead, but we cannot be complacent! Remember 2016!” I’m gonna scream like a steam whistle and start throwing things. Oh, yeah, I almost forgot ONE OF THE WORST THINGS THAT EVER HAPPENED! How did THAT slip my mind?? What a silly GOOSE I am! Jeez, I laid awake all that winter, and I just clean forgot it! THANK YOU FOR YOUR REMINDER, CITIZEN!

Plus it's fun to see the right-wing panic when just this summer Trump was filmed (surreptitiously?) blathering that Kamala was "just so f**king bad." He was almost right - she's just so f**king BADA**!!

Every column you write has a LOL moment, to wit: “the dark times before Harris was the nominee and we weren’t cuddling in bed each night with a Tim Walz plushie”…😂🤣😂🤣😂

" it’s starting to feel like Kamala Harris might finally show voters a world without Donald Trump."

I am so fucking tired of that PoS.

I'll admit it: I was one of those who doubted. Not Harris's ability, but the likelihood that my fellow voters could see past race and gender to acknowledge her ability.

And as I said then - I am utterly, completely DELIGHTED to be proven wrong. JOYOUS, even.

So let's keep it moving!

Me too. I was very worried about those never-Trumpers who voted Biden in 2020 because they were only really willing to vote if it was a white guy on the ticket. I grew up with those people, the ones richer than me who always had plenty to tell me about how women can’t be president and that they were sure I really knew their racist ideas were just common sense.

But I underestimated how quickly we would rally behind Kamala. Not letting any power struggle take hold pushed the young idealists from “bothsidesarethesame” to full Kamala support even if they don’t trust her on Gaza. And they outnumber the neverTrumpers and hopefully will actually vote.

The people I hear still complaining are the people who spend most of their time hoping they won’t actually have to vote at all, because they absolutely hate being told that voting third party is voting for the guy they say they don’t want.

I'm just amazed that the more Shady Vance opens his mouth, the more unlikeable he gets. It's to the point that I figure his quisling of a wife is the only person who can actually stand being around him.

It had to be him getting the pick. Even Nikki Haley isn't flaky and malleable enough to cosign all this bullshit as consistently.

It's impossible to know at this point, but I think Biden/Harris would have ultimately prevailed against T***p/Vance. But it has been very, very gratifying to see how well Kamala and Walz have hit the ground running and put together such a winning campaign. It's also a testament to the pent up frustration that the entire country has had to endure during the years that the Tea Party/Maga movement has dominated the headlines.

It's way past time that some positive energy and sanity returns!

Kamala Harris Surges In Polls While James ‘Davenport’ Vance Fails to Deliver Proper ‘Thrust’ Sought by Trump Campaign.

Kidding aside, these Republican detractors are contradictory ‘sore losers.’ They should have been careful about what they asked for, because they vociferously insisted that Biden ‘step aside’ while ignoring the exponentially worse traits of their own candidate. And if Harris really was the ‘DEI’ disaster and lightweight they keep deceptively denigrating, they should be happy with the result. Instead, they keep screaming about how undemocratic and ‘unfair’ it all is. So which is it folks?

Quite frankly, I am enjoying VP Harris ignoring the corporate media, doing well in the polls, and the corporate media whining about it all.

“Jacobs also suggested that the race would devolve into a brawl between Harris and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer”

Isn’t that what some of these guys would love to see? Two attractive women gettin’ into a mud wrestling match, and/or a hissy cat fight? Isn’t that the very fantasy of incels and other assorted misogynists everywhere?
