She could have done a lot of good with that money. She could have fed people facing starvation in Gaza, donated to Planned Parenthood, or helped elect actual Democrats to the US Senate, for example.
According to FEC.gov, permissible uses of excess campaign funds include:
Donations to charitable organizations defined in 26 U.S.C. § 170(c), unless the candidate receives compensation from the organization before the organization has expended the entire amount donated for purposes unrelated to the candidate’s personal benefit.
Unlimited transfers to any national, state or local political party committee;
Donations to state and local candidates, pursuant to state law; and
Any other lawful purpose, unless such use is personal use.
I imagine she had already burned through the small dollar donations she got early in her short career before she was exposed as a RW plant. The money she's wasting now probably comes from big dollar republican donors for 'services rendered'. Anyone donating to the Sinema party AFTER 2022 knows what they are buying.
Well I guess she's spending it while she can because the precise momment she's "Ex-Senator Curtsey Sinema" all those people she'll call about getting a fatcat lobbyist grift are gonna be all 'New Phone, Who Dis?'
If she thinks she's got a lobbying gig after her Senate stint, she is sorely mistaken. To republican 'leadership', she was useful while she was an undercover asset. Now that she's been outed she is no longer of any use to them. Lobbying firms pics spokes people who have some kind of collateral within a particular demographic. She has none.
Great column. She's perhaps aiming to be some kinda of media personality a la Megan McCain? No doubt the dinosaur sideshow commercial media will find a place for her.
Please tell me that is illegal
😳😳😳😱. 🗳️💙🇺🇸🎉

She’s a disgrace.
Solid research. Thank you. And shame on her and Romney.
What the serious f*ck?! Outrageous.

She is just a grifter!!
Most regretted political donation I ever made was to an Emily’s List appeal for Sinema.
Sinema is a DINO: teeth and claws to rip(off) and chew her way to the end of her term at the expense of those that believed in her.
Well said
Seems like we're 90% of the way to oligarchy. Hope we don't hit 100%.
