I think that all of the cases against Trump are strong and the only tool he has left is delay.

1. He tried to get the Georgia prosecutor removed but it's a nothing-burger. DA Willis responded correctly via the court system. The only problem is that he'll keep stalling.

2. He lost to E. Jean Carroll. He's already had to post a bond (or some shit, I don't know I'm not a criminal).

3. They've got him dead to rights in the classified material case. So, the only play left is to have SCOTUS declare him king.

4. He lost the tax fraud case in NYC to AG James because his attorney was so bad she didn't request a jury trial.

What's galling is that our system is designed to protect rich people. Rich, white men specifically. Therefore, it's working as intended.

The Georgia case seemed the strongest and best opportunity to hold Trump accountable for his bad actions. It's infuriating to think the prosecutors may have literally f*ked that case's chances.

As it was obvious from the beginning that Trump's only strategy in these cases was "delay", and in some of these matters the facts that gave rise to appointing a special counsel were publicly known in January 2021, it is all the more inexcusable that Merrick Garland took almost two years to appoint one.

If Trump wins, puts an end to these prosecutions, and becomes a dictator--all very live possibilities now--this will make Garland's name live in infamy for what could at best be described as gross incompetence.
