Thank you, Stephen. I never knew this side of Nellie.

I have heard the original Little House on the Prairie books are as unenlightened as Megyn Kelly. Maybe she should just reread them.

They’re pretty bad, and more mythological than factual about Wilder’s life. She was a very reactionary conservative type person, herself, and it comes through in the books (which may really have been written by her daughter for the most part.) There is a lot of nastiness about Native Americans and if you peer between the lines you can see how often her much loved father picked up and left whenever he ran out of money. Plus her books have convinced generations of people that you can go blind from scarlet fever (you cannot!) They require much on-the-fly adjustment to deal with the racism when you read them aloud, and I wouldn’t recommend them for anyone small anymore, or anyone with a small brain. You’re right, Kelly should stick with the books to get her fill of poorly educated children suffering because their father has the delusional attitudes of a libertarian militia member.

In a world of Megyn's be a Melissa.

In a world of Nellie's be a Laura.

Sadly, Megyn Kelly does know what it means to ruin a show. What she knows is that it pays well. That 30 million in her pocket isn't chump change.

Stephen. Thank you for a Wonderful story/reminder of LHOTP. Loved watching it, and like the Great Bad Girl, Alison played Nellie Amazingly! Pa- Michael Landon looked Very like My own Father. Right down to the curly black hair. Loved It! Didn’t know about Actor Steve Tracey. How Wonderful Alison was Such an Amazing Friend to him, right to the end..💔but lovely. Glad Melissa Gilbert spoke out Against Kelly!(Hateful person)

Thanks for this awesome story. I didn’t have a teevee during the time this show was on, so I never saw it. I read all the books though.

Beautiful story. People like Kelly will never understand compassion, friendship, and love like that.

She’s a damned treasure. Fuck. And Gilbert ain’t so bad herself. ❤️

I read that despite their on-screen antagonism the actresses were good friends (sort of like Joe Pesci and Frank Vincent, or Redd Fox and the actress who played Aunt Esther).

Oh yeah, I remember finding a website that had a bunch of between the scenes and offset pictures of them doing shit like scuba diving and other stuff. And apparently like soap operas, a lot of the people conflated Nelly's character with the actress. Christ people can be so dumb. But she was an amazing villain

Awwww… that would be lovely! 🥰

Good to see Gilbert bark back. Megyn is old news and needs attention. Saying STUPID IGNORANT things works for the LOW CLASS Magats out there. Look at me, I can say stupid shit and you will like me. Assholes.

F- Megyn Kelly
