To Mark Robinson:

🎶 Here’s to you Mr. Robinson

You think Jesus loves you more than any Dem

What’s that you say Mr. Robinson?

People need to die that you condemn? 🎶

Fucking nut case.

(Apologies to Simon & Garfunkel)

Dr king was non violent, he would never say such things and to be in a church, wow what a shame, these people wouldn’t know Jesus if he was sitting in the pews. Besides what if someone thinks he’s the one that needs killing?

He is such a hypocrite too. It was okay for he and his future wife to have an abortion, but he takes the choice from everyone else. Hoping NC voters will kick him to the curb.

He also likes to call teachers "wicked people". Aw snap, he found us out!

The media isn't operating in good faith, and Democrats should know that by now. They need to call out media personalities (I refuse to call them reporters or journalists) when they obsess about the president's one bad debate performance and his age, but ignore Project 2025 and trump's extensive baggage. And, yes, they are mostly ignoring wingnut Robinson's words about killing people, because of reasons. The media is ridiculous, but not in a funny way. Instead of telling the truth and exposing lies, in order to preserve our democracy, which is their job, they are knocking down Democrats and giving republicans a pass (when they aren't slobbering all over said republicans in order to lift them up).

"We didn’t argue and capitulate and talk about, well, maybe we shouldn’t fight the Nazis that hard. No, they’re bad. Kill them."

Remember that time a few leftists agreed that they were okay with punching Nazis and the entire right melted down for months? I do.

Also, it's important to note that Dr King's dream was entirely without context and he never said anything else.

You are oh so right about how much those of us in NC need a Democrat governor. We’re one step away from total control by Republicans, in a purple state, thanks to gerrymandering.

The full effect of Dobbs is not reflected in polls. There's 100 million women primed to vote and they ain't thinking gop.

Sure hope so, especially here in NC

“Some folks need killing!”

“…which will remain bloodless if the Left allows it to be”

I love how they think we will just roll over and die. That we won’t fight back. That we don’t own guns. That we would let them come for LGBTQ+ children, or our undocumented neighbors, or our minority brothers and sisters. Like the Confederacy claiming they’ll beat those Yankee cowards in a week.

Jesus Christ this guy is awful. And this is the base model Republican candidate now.

NC Dems, you best have your voting plans together. Up and down the ballot punish the Republican party for their embrace of these hypocritical monsters!

Perfectly said, thank you Stephen.

“It’s time to call out, uh, those guys in green and go have them handled. Or those boys in blue and have them go handle it.“ Yeah you know, all those suckers and losers and bad cops (which is all of them, remember?) should go kill liberals on our behalf, because Lord knows we’re too chickenshit to do it ourselves.

>> We didn’t argue and capitulate and talk about, well, maybe we shouldn’t fight the Nazis that hard. <<

Actually Mr. Batshit Robinson (no relation to SER), we did argue and capitulate. See, e.g., Donald Trump's dad, the New York Times, the entire GOP 1933-1941 and a good chunk of isolationist democrats from the same period.

:sigh:

These are the people who say that they don't wish to rewrite history. Of course, what they actually mean is that they don't wish to **learn** history.

Here's a question: How many violence-spouting, radical leftists can you name who are running for Governor of any state?

None, amiright? Now, ask yourself why all of the prominent, anti-democratic, authoritarian, fake-christian nutjob radicals are on the right?

Now explain to me why anyone with any sense votes for any of them. The only answer I can come up with is hate, misogyny, and racism.

A Democrat with rhetoric this violent would already be closing their campaign office. This is another indication of who the parties represent...Republican interests are the ones with freedom to call for elimination of people and gain support for it.

And also, Heritage Foundation/Project 2025’s Kevin Roberts, July 4, 2024: “We are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless ― if the Left allows it to be.”

How is this not, what’s the word, oh right: SEDITION?

Because they have the demographics to avoid summary execution by police!

One thing Democrats have to hammer home is just how damn weird the Republicans are. This isn't just scary stuff, it's plain weird. "We have to do killing--" Good lord, just listen to that for a minute. Sure, Joe Voter might think liberals are a big preachy on pronouns, DEI sounds a lot like letting underqualified people get jobs because of their ethnicity, and government programs aren't the solution to everything, but what sort of weirdo thinks any of that is worth killing for?

Yes, Stein and people like him should emphasize how they'll improve people's quality of life, emphasize how Republicans won't, but it's also key to point out that "these people are weird, violence-loving extremists, they are not normal like you and me." And hang nuts like Robinson around the neck of "moderate" Republicans who are trying to similarly paint Democrats as the "weird" ones.
