I hang my head in shame and heartbreak because it seems that we will never learn. What a grand disservice we do to our society only because “not white” and turn away from progress that can be made by listening to smarter voices that may be a different color. It's indeed more evidence of the great deference in the legal and political systems for the champions of the unreconstructed.
This is why America is always a work in progress, and freedom is *never* settled, for those who didn't get their rights as part of the original release of America. We had to wait for the DLC.
On July 12, 2022, the United States House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol publicly named the following as Congressional leaders of the Republican Insurrection:
Brian Babin (R – TX);
Andy Biggs (R – AZ);
Matt Gaetz (R – FL);
Louie Gohmert (R – TX);
Marjorie Taylor Greene (R – GA);
Andy Harris (R – MD);
Jody Hice (R – GA);
Jim Jordan (R – OH);
Scott Perry (R – PA).
Not one of these Republicans has been charged or prosecuted for sedition or treason.
