I have this same hangover after each demonstration, no matter how large and successful. I feel so good that day and the next, and then I start having the Doom. But you know, regardless of the path forward, regardless of what is coming, which we cannot foresee, we have to keep fighting regardless. So give yourself a hug and accept the doom feelings, and then pick one good thing to do. Smile at a neighbor, buy someone lunch, wear a rainbow pin and see how willing people are to speak to you, put up a sign. Keep breathing. It’s okay to feel bad, there’s a lot of bad out there. Just choose to do the good, it is all that is within your control.

Spartanburg is a blue city in a red county in a red state, and we had hundreds show up Saturday morning, with most of the vehicles honking their horns in support as they drove by.
