The MST3k YouTube channel is having a Spooky Day Happy Halloween marathon today, starting at 11AM EDT, which features 10 episodes, so I will watch some of that, but will take time out to watch my Halloween favorites: "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" and anything with Vincent Price (nice nod to him with the last video).

ETA: here is the link to the Spooky Day marathon, if you want to be notified, and see the list of episodes, with the time each will start (click on "more" in the description):

Thanks! I will always associate MST3K with Thanksgiving but there are some episodes that are prime Halloween viewing!

I was 21 when Married with Children began, and more than that, it was the beginning of the Fox network. Back then we only had ABC, NBC and CBS so Fox was a big deal. In Living Color, with the Fly Girls and a baby Jim Carrey and the Tracey Ullman Show, where The Simpsons started, were nights we got together and partied! Damn, thanks for the memories!

We had PBS as well as ABC, NBC, and CBS before Fox. And starting in 1980 (for me, because that is when my parents got cable), we had TBS, WGN, CNN, and other cable stations. MTV came along in 1981. But you had to have cable to get those, so if you didn't (because it wasn't available or you didn't want to spend the money), Fox was a big deal.
