I've often wondered if Heaven and Hell would be the same place and it all simply depended upon your disposition which one you were experiencing.
Jesus said that people from every nation and every tongue would come to his table and sit down with the saints and Abraham and feast together in celebration and I can very much imagine Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell and a lot of white Evangelicals refusing the invitation and marching outside of the feasting hall and sulking about an afterlife eternal with THOSE people and THOSE people being seated first and being served instead of serving important people like them.
Robert Reich talked about how he’s 10 days younger than Rump and still feels the frailties of age and he can actually put together cohesive thoughts. But he also cites example of people who live long and one of them is having a sense of humor about one’s frailties. Rump possesses zero humor about anything much less himself.

I resisted the "fake assassination" rumors for months because I couldn't and didn't want to believe a political candidate for PRESIDENT and the Secret Service would participate in ANY WAY in the murder and near murder of rally attendees, of Trump supporters, but since then, I have seen Trump will sacrifice anyone to "save" himself - other humans are not real to him. (His sacrifice of hundreds of thousands during COVID should have taught me this already, but you know, "global pandemic".) Then there's the whole "professional wrestling", fake blood and false bravado bullshit Donny has steeped himself in for decade. Now I absolutely believe he could be capable of staging a murder in full public view AND THEN MAKING HIMSELF THE VICTIM.
Well his brain is certainly already there; all that's left in the pricktator's cranium is raccoon urine-soaked insulation and frayed wires. This man can't string two sentences together on topic. But he has a rightwing media human centipede to cover for him, so he's free to continue the mission of Maladministration 2.0...kill millions via miasma, pestilence, calamity and famine. And of course loot the government for as much as possible for him and his friends before he kicks the bucket.
My hot take is the official story of his assassination attempt is very questionable (that the one time in his life he showed bravery, this guy who ran away when a Mar a Lago member bled out is suddenly going to stop and do a fist pump pose for the cameras with an active shooter at large, and his SS detail allowed this? His wounded ear shows no damage a week later? He and his DOJ and Congressional Republicans—those who spent four years doing hearings on Benghazi—just dropped the whole issue of whether the “assassin” was part of a conspiracy with his enemies? No investigation at all from Bondi? They are still going on about Russiagate ten years later, but not a peep about whether there’s a group that came inches away from killing him?). The media and most liberals buy it, but this sets off my BS radar.
Anyway, I’d like to think he’s going soon—not out of spite, but because every day he reigns innocent people die and are put at increased risk, and our country slides further into shit—but I’m guessing the rotten bag of shit will live another decade at least. His father went into his ‘90s, and this guy has all the medical resources our tax dollars can pay for (think also of the irony of the doctors saving him from COVID in 2020…inadvertently causing the death of hundreds of thousands of Americans by keeping him alive and telling them COVID was no big deal).
