So sad and angry for childhood crush. As a young Minnesota child I too loved Dukes of Hazard & didn’t have A CLUE about the odd flag or funny horn. Our poor moms, the winter we made them roll down the windows so we could slide into the car like the Duke boys.... in our snowsuits!

What a shame to read this about John Schneider. I never watched a second of the Dukes series, but I liked him in “Smallville,”as Clark Kent's dad.
I learned this year that Schneider wrote “When The Right One Comes Along,” beautifully sung by Georgia Middleman (❤️) and by Claire Bowen (who’d appeared on “Nashville” as an actor). It’s an absolutely beautiful country song. But I wouldn’t give Schneider a dime to hear him sing it.

I’m not surprised. What I found somewhat surprising is that Dukes of Hazzard had more Black people on it than Seinfeld and Friends.
