My reactions to the social media posts of Congress critters and adjacent family members like Klobuchar and Booker and yes, Hunter Biden start with annoyance and move on up to anger. They're on the national stage and they think they're adept players in The Game. Instead, they come across to this reader as pathetic, weak, and in need of either a wake up call or a yeeting out of office. I'm one of millions of voters who are fed up and want smart fighters who can lead the charge against RW fascism. They still don't get it, and they're happy to communicate that. BAH!
I doubt there will be many (or any) streets, buildings, bridges, or schools named after Lindsey Graham, even though the only reason he kept getting elected was because of Republican name recognition in a red state. He wasn't even particularly liked or trusted by members of his own party, Trump included, who immediately chose to exploit his death to push the doomed "SAVE" act.
Lindsey Graham got the chickenshit death he deserved.
He was a careless and vapid man. A liar and coward who could not even live as who he really was. He chose power and influence instead of honesty. A toady, a small bully who hid behind larger men for protection. A remora attaching itself to predators and basking in the fear of the predator's victims.
He had no principles. No character. No substance. Lindsay Graham will be easily replaced in the Senate for there are millions of empty voids like him. Hollow men and women who will gleefully spend their brief period on Earth smashing things and then retreat forever into darkness, their memory forgotten quickly.
Murc's Law does demand grace from Democrats, and remember that Democrats are not to get grace in return. The next time a Democrat dies, we all know what America's Pilonidal Cyst is going to do, so just be prepared for it.

Excellent commentary on Graham! I just find it sad that Graham started adulthood as a laudable young man, raising his young sister after their parents died, but his later years showed such a complete lack of moral fortitude. Power corrupts.

McMaster will probably appoint someone just as bad, if not worse, to finish his term, and SC repubs will probably nominate someone just as bad, if not worse, to run in the election against Dr. Andrews in November. I think that she can win - she had a chance against Graham, and maybe an even better chance against another maga without the name recognition.
