"He makes at least as many mistakes as Joe Biden, but because he does it with this bravado, it doesn’t seem like senility. It seems like passion.”

This is absolutely unvarnished bullshit. Every time I hear that man open his big yap, I can't help but wonder what combination of vascular dementia, advanced neuro-syphilis, and long-term stimulant abuse makes him say the batshit insane shit he says.

"the New York Times published the following exercise in bad journalism, Why the Age Issue Is Hurting Biden So Much More Than Trump."

`

Yes, who could possibly be responsible? What a complete mystery!

This is like when my dumb ass boy cousin was 8 and pretended not to know who went down to the corner store and bought cherry bombs.

This is why I no longer subscribe to the New York Times or the Washington Post. Ridiculously biased coverage for one such as Trump and against Biden, who I believe will be remembered as one of the greatest Presidents in history, is dangerously unacceptable.

Normalizing fascism. Great piece, and more and more The Dark Knight seems like a film that answers the question, “What would Fritz Lang do if he were alive?”

There's something kind of sickening reading people fawning all over a bloated, fake-tanned, criminal narcissistic dictator-wannabe. It can't all just be fear—there has to be something that makes people talk about Donald Trump like he's their not-so-secret crush.

I don't know WTF it is—I look at Donald Trump, snort derisively, and say, "What an assclown!" I've been saying that since the 1980s when he was young and...better-looking than he is now, I guess? Even then he felt like a snake-oil salesman, and not a very good one either—I'd seen Three-Card Monte dealers more convincing than him.

"I don't know WTF it is"

`

He's as angry, bigoted, and belligerent as they are. He hurts and upsets the people they hate.

That's it.

That's all there is to it.

That's all they care about, to the exclusion of everyone and everything else -- including self-preservation.

Yeah, I think you're right.

It's both disgusting and pathetic.

On the plus side, a belief system that ignores self-preservation has a tendency to self-extinguish.

St. Vitus Dance, maybe! Which is the Medieval term for the condition now known as Sydenham Chorea—an autoimmune disorder caused by the body's antibodies attacking rheumatic fever in the brain:

Here's what that looks like in a young patient:

While it's no longer common in the West, it still exists in the Developing World.

Nobody knows better than the Times and Maggie Haberman about Trump’s drug use. Have you ever seen them comment on it? No, they won’t even deny it.

Haberman is complicit.

This is like saying that "Grab them by the pussy" shows his virility when it just shows his egotism and willingness to control others. A classic example was his statement that Taylor Swift shouldn't endorse Biden because he (Trump™) made her career. The veiled threat there was that he could destroy her career if she doesn't do what he wants her to. This is classic rapist talk.

It also sounds like what Kanye said about her, that caused one of the bigger scandals in her young career....

While walking our dogs together the other morning, my neighbor reported to me a views which she formed from reading The New York Times that morning.

She felt there was an urgent need to replace Joe Biden at the top of the Democratic ticket this fall. She also expressed uncertainties about the suitability of Kamala Harris as the understudy waiting in the wings for the impending demise of Joe Biden.

It’s very disheartening that a well educated 75-year-old retired CT Suburban kindergarten teacher would be mislead into forming such opinions after reading The New York Times (or CNN) today, notwithstanding the recent 388 page hit job by Robert Hur, who himself is IMO demonstrating signs of early dementia, compromising his professional validity just like his owner, the quisling Very Stable Genius Orange Yam.

I told my neighbor in no uncertain terms that I felt that Joe Biden (based on his lifetime of experence in Government in Washington, plus his currently proven track record eg successfully initiating a New New Deal in the USA…building from the bottom up, and from the middle out), is by far  the most qualified American to lead our country for the next four years.

I also explained that a vote for anyone else but Biden for President, is a vote for the Orange quisling Wannabe-Dictator-for-Life.

And I’m canceling my subscription to The New York Rightward Times

When cancelling the NYT, be sure to tell them it’s because you have concerns about the age of their editorial staff.

The FUD instilled in your neighbor means the writers did their job, and this is part of the goal to get those Republican tax cuts for the owners.

Hear hear Stephen !!!

Wake up NYT writers/ media - shame on you for comparing Trump to Biden via age, looks, movement, and speech. Are you trying to sway readers to vote for this unhinged, narcissist? You know better ! Let’s focus on the character of each- that tells the truth.

Stephen - How can your sensible article reach more people to open their eyes to reality !!

My next question: when are the Dems going to come out swinging against Trump with charismatic supporters like Obama ?

Let’s all remember Trump was the New York Times’ golden boy and cash cow for decades. They have fond memories of the arrogant young, coldly handsome, real estate magnate. And gossip magnet.

Appears NYT still has “ love” for Donald.

“Appears unnaturally tan” is the understatement of the decade. He appears to have jaundice. Some could argue he’s in blackface. Especially lately, his previous shade of bronzer having been discontinued. I’d like to applaud the person who suggested this shade. And whomever is “doing” what’s left of his hair.

How on earth is slathering all that makeup on anything other than "sad old man trying to hide his aged and damaged skin" but the Times writes it like a sympathetic grandchild trying to make their grandfather feel better with "but it makes him look so young!"

Don’t mean for this to sound pejorative but Trump has what some people call “ crazy energy” or even “ demonic energy”. Not very comforting. I’ve never known a low key bully. Their anger and fear propel their energy. Not to suggest a direct comparison but Hitler was a ball of frenetic energy on stage.

Trump is more energetic than Biden, true. Being a successful president requires intelligence, integrity and inner strength. Trump has basic intelligence. Otherwise he’s lacking.

I used to think MAGA members know better than to swallow Trump’s crap whole and unquestioned. I was wrong. But there are Trump supporters holding positions of power and influence who do know better. They know Trump is as full of shit as a Christmas turkey. They don’t swallow his crap so much as float on it to maintain power with the MAGA base. They deserve our contempt much more than the know nothings yelling in the Trump rally crowds.

He SEEMS so. But ya don’t see him riding a bike, hiking with friends as Biden does regularly. The most Trump can manage is a game of golf cart rides and a walk from the West Wing to Marine One, and someone has to point him the way. (Also he is often propped up with Provigil or Adderall and you can tell when he’s not. Like everything else MAGA, it’s all smoke and mirrors.
