They deserve whatever further humiliation they get for abandoning any semblance of personal integrity.
I would say “all that self abasement and she still got canned, what a chump” but then a mediocre hack like Bondi never would have gotten close to being AG had it not been for a president who really didn’t give a shit about quality. This was really the one opportunity someone like her would ever get! And humiliation was part of the package. And in the end I think she lasted almost as long as Jeff Sessions.
The remarkable thing to me isnt that Trump would nominate such a nullify but that Republicans would sail her through (and didn’t that fuckface Fetterman vote for her as well?). You’d think it’d occur to then that this would end in a predictable way and it’d stick to them that they have some ownership here but apparently not.
I'm reminded of the Sith or the depictions of Hell as a corporate bureaucracy where the goal is to climb the ladder, gain more power through lies, backstabbing, and being useful to your "betters" while planning on their betrayal and downfall. A war of all against all, only barely kept from all out violence by threat of punishment from the leader. You don't have friends, you have competitors and useful idiots. There is no loyalty, no compassion, no mercy. Anyone, including yourself, is a tool that might be thrown away or killed at any moment by someone higher on the hierarchy.
I don't understand why people play this game or agree to participate. I can only imagine that they think the benefits they will accrue will exceed their eventual betrayal and downfall.
