Originalism (which is a crock) as it’s being used today means we’re all doomed to living in the 1800’s? Amendments to the Constitution shows that’s a load of nonsense. The Constitution was meant to lay a foundation, where future generations and interpretations would change as the times changed.

You're not telling me that this central philosophy of modern conservative jurisprudence is somehow semi-adjacent to racism, are you?

ETA: Also, too, let me just say that if they ever put me on the bench, **I** would make queerness mandatory.
