Vaughn Meader! My favorite part of The First Family is the surprise of a child’s voice, who has been greeted as a dignitary by various White House ushers opening doors for him, asking, ‘Can Lyndon come out and play today?’

Ok, so Bobby Brainworm did all these manly man activities. So what? Maybe the day after he was on the couch downing ibuprofen, asking his wife to make him sammies and needing help to make it to the bathroom.

I forgot the second thing I learned. I understand this guy much better now as regards his position on vaccines. He's thinking, "Gee, if everyone were as healthy as me, we might not need vaccines.". That's it - this is personal. Here's a guy who has afib, as well as having had part of his brain eaten by a worm. His response to these health issues is actually awesome, and no doubt he appears to have taken these head-on by becoming more fit. Which we all should, to some extent, but life intervenes. RFK Jr. is thinking, "If we can just get people on a national fitness program..." and you can complete the sentence. He's thinking his personal regimen allowed him to defeat these things, and that is the cure for the country.

JFK had a fitness initiative, as parodied here by Vaughn Meader:

I just learned two new things beyond finding out yesterday that RFK Jr. has a dead worm in his brain, a worm that ate part of that brain. First, I totally see why he is leaning into the story - he has to, because he gave a sworn deposition. This is established fact now, unless he lied under oath. He only has one option to attempt to get out - "Upon further review, I've determined that I was not cognitively impaired at that point. I only thought I was, because a worm ate part of my brain. But as you can see, I'm all better now.".

"[JFK] had Addison’s disease, which caused fatigue, digestive issues, and low blood pressure. He was only 46 when he died." Being shot in the head with a high-powered rifle will tend to take years off your life.

RFK Jr is the Tulsi Gabbard of Jill Steins. But with 50% less brain power.

I just figured the brain worm died of starvation.

Quite the 180 from the Bannon engineered Franken-candidate let loose to take the Dem vote from Biden to the Republicans snarking at Kennedy because he went independent and looks to take votes from their side.

Can't wait for the ending with Bannon gasping out: 'Yet why do I say this? I have myself been blasted in these hopes, yet another may succeed!'

"This doctor thought the weirdness going on inside Kennedy’s head “was caused by a worm that got into my brain and ate a portion of it and then died.”"

Yeeeaaahh, I'ma go out on a limb and say that's only a *partial* cause of the weirdness inside his head.

Oh, wow! He’s skiing a blue groomer and making lots of turns! What a ripper!

Pfffft! I wouldn’t take him out in the gated terrain where we ski at our mountain without a full complement of ski patrollers and a meat wagon. (#snowsnob)

TBF, we are only almost in our 70s.

(Future president my frozen ass!)

Haha, I didn't watch the video. Yes, unmanly skiing for his age. I haven't skied out west in a few years, resigned to the gravel pits of the Midwest and Appalachian foothills. But when I get back, it will be the back bowls at Vail, off-track at Heavenly, Brian Head in Utah and of course just… Taos.

Aspen/Snowmass joins the chat. Mtn biked Brian Head last fall, it was great! We then headed to Losee Canyon for the annular eclipse. (Never skied there.)

Boy that is all kinds of horrible and nope. Glad the guy survived.

And ahhh Republicans, always keepin' it Klassy! And that's not even the worst thing Rep. Collins said. Yet 14K liked that, it's so depressing.

At least we're learning this about Kennedy. We still have no idea what Trump's health is like, because his longtime quack had his office raided and files taken by Trump's goons back in 2016, and while in the White House Trump was overseen by Ronny Jackson who shouldn't be trusted with the care of a gerbil (and WTF, Obama? This guy was your doctor too? Were there warning signs???). There's good reason to believe Trump has some severe brain issues, and is likely under the influence of misprescribed drugs.

But the media just took Trump's statement of "I have the best health in the world" at face value because hey, why not spend more time talking about how Biden walks funny after his foot injury?

TBF, Obama was really healthy and probably remained that way by staying away from Dr Ronny (🤪)!

That's my guess--Obama is a lot like me, just avoids doctors as much as possible so the fact that Jackson was a quack never came up. Good thing he didn't have a medical issue while he was POTUS!

Kennedy has been all over the map on abortion--he endorsed a national ban at one point in this campaign. Frankly, more airing of his right wing bona fides would be a great way to let anti-Biden voters realize that they don't just have to vote for Trump. They can vote for RFK Jr, and what would troll the hated Kennedy family more than voting for their right wing anti-Biden black sheep of the clan?
